Grizzly Bear of Herschel, Saskatchewan

It stands at 9 feet tall. It was built to commemorate the 9th Earl of Southesk's trip to the area in 1859. He is believed to be the first European to come to the area. He shot a plains grizzly bear in the area. Plains Grizzlys were once prevelant in the area..
