The Very Big Nickel of Sudbury, Ontario

This is perhaps one of the best known roadside monument big things in all of Ontario if not all of Canada. It was built to immortalize the nickel mining activity in Sudbury. It was built to be part of a planned themepark, but it was ultimately purchased by Science North. It towers at 30 feet high and is built of stainless steel.
