T-Rex of Drumheller, Alberta

This painted cement monster stands at 20 feet tall and 30 feet wide (with tail)
A plaque reads:"Tyrannosaurus Rex 70,000,000 years ago T. Rex roamed this entire region as king. This replica was commissioned by the Drumheller and District Chamber of Commerce. It was crafted by Trygve Seland and unveiled July 1st, 1960, on the south shore of the river, adjacent to the west side of the Gordon E. Taylor Bridge. "Rex" was moved to this location in 1992. This plaque is placed in memory and honour of Trygve Seland by the Masonic and Concordant bodies".
